Who We Are

Third Excursion Group was formed by professionals who have operated where margins are thin and consequences are real.

Our team includes SEAL Team veterans, public safety leaders, and private-sector executives with decades of experience in high-consequence operational environments.

TXG exists to help organizations perform when it matters most. We implement critical risk solutions to establish and sustain operational readiness—reducing exposure, building real-world proficiency, and ensuring performance holds as conditions evolve.

Third Excursion isn’t just a name—it’s a mindset.
It represents the missions others avoid, the standards few can uphold, and the outcomes that must be achieved.

We lead when it’s hardest.
We execute when failure isn’t an option.
Where others stop, we begin.

Experience That

Drives Execution

At TXG, our experience comes from doing the work, not studying it. Our team has operated in environments where decisions carry real consequences and mistakes have cost. That background informs how we approach risk mitigation, training, and readiness, with an emphasis on clear judgment, practical execution, and systems that hold up over time.

Risk Insight From Real Exposure

Our understanding of risk comes from having worked in environments where mistakes have consequences. We’ve seen how threats develop, how organizations fail to notice early warning signs, and which issues actually drive incidents versus noise.

Execution Proven in Practice

Mitigation works only if it can be carried out under real conditions. Our experience comes from implementing controls, procedures, and safeguards where time, resources, and conditions were never ideal, and where plans had to function in practice.

Training Built Through Accountability

Training is shaped by having been responsible for results. We’ve led and prepared people who were expected to perform, not just participate. That experience informs how readiness is built around judgment, role clarity, and execution.

Evaluation Informed by Failure

Readiness cannot be assumed. Experience with failures, near misses, and systems that broke down informs how we evaluate performance. We focus on identifying gaps early and confirming whether preparation is sufficient before it is tested the hard way.

Oversight Informed by Continuity

Risk does not stay static. Experience managing operations over time provides insight into how drift occurs and how systems lose alignment. That perspective guides ongoing oversight so readiness holds as conditions and personnel change.

Operational Background

Special Operations

Our team includes veterans of Naval Special Warfare and other elite units who led missions in high-risk, asymmetric environments. This background informs how we approach planning, execution, and risk, prioritizing clarity, accountability, and adaptability under pressure.

Law Enforcement

We bring decades of operational law enforcement experience, including patrol, investigations, command leadership, and critical incident response. Our perspective reflects the realities of public trust, operational constraints, and sustained performance in complex communities.

Homeland Security

TXG personnel have worked within ICS, NIMS, and HSEEP frameworks, designing and executing crisis response strategies at multiple levels of government. We specialize in translating policy into executable action that holds up during real-world incidents.

Private Sector

From corporate risk and infrastructure protection to executive advisory and private clients, we apply public-sector rigor to private-sector realities, helping organizations manage exposure, protect continuity, and operate confidently in a connected threat landscape.
